King's Lynn v Stockport. Your prediction?
Being as Stockport are top of the league, on paper it looks one way trafic. However I wonder if a shock result might be on the cards?

We are not expected to win, but that certainly doesn't mean we can't. A draw might be said to be a good result, but we need to win to try and stay in this league.
The players will be in good spirits after Saturdays win. Will be a tough task, but if we take the game to them and can create chances then anything is possible. Lynn 2 Stockport 1. Here's hoping.

Stockport County last 19 games won 18 and drawn 1, we have improved so what a test. If we get a point I will start the hokey-cokey in the main stand

Just hoping for similar commitment shown in the last home game, this is a cat A game which may put a few off but hopefully that will be balanced by a few more coming on the back of Saturdays win and the weather being a bit better.  Not expecting much in terms of the result as Stockport are far, far better than us but maybe the Walks pitch will be a 'leveller' on the evening.  Given that we are likely to be playing more on the break I would like to see K-B for Barrett (and obviously Jones for Hickman) but would imagine TW will stick with the winning team from Saturday

Chances are going to be few and far between tonight. So it has to be a shoot on site policy, and no messing around at the back, just clear your lines. I think we have to win 7 more games to have a chance of staying up, Im not saying we will, but lets not have any regrets. Give it all, and who knows?

Given that we have accumulated 21 points from 33 games, I think another 21 from the next 11 is a tall order and, although I am not sure that 42 points will be what the team finishing fourth bottom will end up on, I can't see us getting enough to put Aldershot under any pressure.  Personally I think there are plenty of regrets this season but we are where we are for many reasons and the big question for me is whether we have genuinely learnt from the mistakes that have been made and will make changes (in the way we do things as much as personnel) going forward.

Griss, I am not sure where you get your information but maybe it's time to double check the facts before posting?  That said the away section was by far the fullest area last night so if the whole of the Tennyson Road area can be safely given over to away fans when we expect bigger numbers (possibly only Grimsby although could maybe make a case for Halifax this coming weekend too) then I don't see an issue with the current dwindling home support.

As for the game last night, Stockport were clearly a better all round side and we needed everyone to 'put in a shift' to even come close to matching them and, unfortunately, TW got it badly wrong with Linton's replacement as Barrett just doesn't want to put in the work, I know he is there for what he can do in an attacking sense, although we see precious little of that against the better teams, but his introduction left too much for the others to cover for.  Fingers crossed Linton's injury isn't too bad and he can be fit for Dover away.

Still looks like when you have a chance of success ( whatever the level) fans will turn up.  When you are struggling at the wrong end of the table you are down to the real hardcore fans.

Yes, always been so but for some reason I think it was expected that we would buck the trend.

I agree Malcolm. I've seen it many times over the years. Personally I think it was always obvious that it would happen, and the majority of others thought that way as well.

There are a few older posts on here that disputed that it would ever happen, but not many.

Having said that, when its down to only 300 there I think it means that at least 50% of the "hard core" must have given up as well.

I remember one of Stephen’s blog’s in conversation with Mark Hearle.  They were discussing how they weren’t going offer any concessions in the main stand and everyone was going to pay top dollar because the seats were going to sell out. 

Got that one wrong boys by a wide margin.
