I do plenty for nothing. You heard of Festival Too?
But no Iím not doing events at the Blue & Gold for nothing. I simply book the venue just as you or anyone else can. I then host my own events there.
You seem very interested, do you want the ticket link 😀

Itís good that the Club is getting extra revenue in by hiring out the B&G.   Letís hope they make a good few quid from the  event.   Will give those guys involved at the Club the encouragement to start organising their own events and the profit all being filtered into the Club rather than a 3rd persons pocket.  If itís a flop then Club doesnít lose a bean.

I think Grissles was trying to work out if your event was fund raising for the Club or just venue hire.

Thanks for the info.

Seems you hit this one on the head Grissles.

They definitely seem to be gearing up for something big.

"Non football activities up to 4 times a year".

The application forms states its not Commercial. I suppose that depends on what the interpretation of "Commercial" is.

Outdoor Music events in the middle of a residential area.  The locals are gonna love that!

Didnít Johnathan Chapman want to open a Club at the Stadium.  Locals soon got that knocked on the head

Yes, been tried before. Maybe the Council and local residents attitudes have changed.   :dontknow:

Hiring out the B&G is a good idea but not for a musical event. Its far too small to make it pay.  Maybe be Hiring out the Corn Hall and the proceeds going to the club would be a better option. Just an Idea!

If it goes ahead, it canít be for the money if Cleeve is hoping to stage part of the ďfreeĒ Festival Too event at the Walks.

Maybe once he has put on a Festival Too night it will give him license to push on with fund raisers for the Club ?

But the event's chairman, Abbie Panks said: "We have not spoken to the Football Club, nor do we have any plans whatsoever for moving Festival Too there, so I'm not sure where that information has come from."

Surely SC wonít let a little thing like that get in the way of his idea.  Surely they will jump at the chance of having him involved.
