Lynn share the points away at Dover, 1-1.

A point away from home is usually considered a good result, but I get the feeling that Tommy was expecting/hoping for more on this occasion.

After Halifax I too would be wanting nothing less than a win against bottom place. Get a little run going and give Aldershot something else to worry about

Many Lynn fans there? :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
Perhaps a lunatic was simply a minority of one.

Only 522 fans in total, so don't think many made the trip.

Tommy was pleased with a point it seems.  Moves us a little closer to Aldershot.  More spin than a roundabout
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

I guess everything is relative, four points from the last two games is a pretty good return imo and with Aldershot losing their easiest game on paper in their run in then I think there are certainly positives to take away from the weekend.  If we can get another four points from the two home games coming in the next week then the pressure will certainly be on Aldershot who must be wondering where their next point is coming from.

The fact that Aldershot lost, means we gained a point, but in all honesty I think it was a game we needed to win. We can’t rely on Aldershot to keep losing, we have to look after ourselves and yesterday was an opportunity that we never took full advantage of. Aldershot can be overtaken, but it could be Weymouth who does it and not us, so for TW to say he is happy with a point is nonsense.
Never bringing a forward in has not helped our cause, I presume it’s too late now, even for a loaner. In which case, we should recall Gyasi. We need an option on the bench, someone who could come on. Given Aldershot woeful form, we still have a chance, even if it is slim.

That’s very true Tony.  Four points from the last two would have been an excellent return prior to the Halifax fixture.  However after turning over Halifax I guess everyone would be expecting 3 points from the Leagues whipping boys.   Those extra two points from Saturday would have set us up nicely to aim for 4 points from the next two home games which in turn would hopefully see us go above Aldershot and be in the first safe position

It’s ridiculous that we farmed Gyasi out !  Now that we at last seem capable of at least getting into the opponents’ penalty area, Gyasi should be brought back straightaway, and made the first name on the team
sheet.

To be fair DD, two different managers didn't think Gyasi was the answer hence he is out on loan at a part-time club.  Whilst it sounds like he is taking his chance with more regular playing time I am not sure he figures in TW's plans.  Also, have you actually seen Gyasi play in the flesh or are you calling for his return from loan based on a good game against Wrexham?  Personally I didn't think he was NL standard but then again what would I know, I would never have signed Walker but TW found a place in the squad for him

Agree with you , he has the ability but not so much a footballing brain as in positioning and work rate stood many a time behind cully and he was constantly at him as he’d drift etc .. may be ok in north but still can’t see him being a regular
