Disappointment for Linnets as Yeovil score
an injury time goal to share the points.

2-2.
The greater the artist, the greater the doubt.
Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize.

Gutted to have dropped two points so late in the game.  Sometimes the Gods are with you, sometimes not.  Winning 2-1 with Aldershot drawing 1-1. Then it all turns.  Thatís Football.

Notts Co away on Friday.  They got stuffed 5-1 at Torquay today.  A good time to pay them a visit ?

Yeah, a big disappointment today. Thought we did enough to win. Lets hope we can win away to Yeovil mid week  :scarf:

Fair result in the end, like TW I thought it was a penalty to them but we came back into the game with a great goal by Clunan and did enough to at least be level by half time and a bit of fortune meant we went in with the lead against 10 men.  Basically we didn't come out for the second half and I don't remember their keeper having to make a save after the break.  I was looking for four points from these two home games which is what we got, the disappointing thing was seeing Aldershot get a confidence boosting win today, tough couple of games over the bank holiday but at least the effort is there from most of the squad

Someone can check if this is correct, but I think that's 15 points from 15 games from Tommy.

Aldershot are 5 points ahead with two games in hand.  :glum:

We have 6 games remaining (only two at home).

Big turnaround in fortunes courtesy of Tommy but if the figures above are correct, it seems that after both Clubs results today, he needs to motivate his players to up their game even further if we are to have any hope of survival  :scarf:

If it goes on form, 6 more points from the 6 games we have remaining means itís unlikely to be enough.  :dontknow:

At half time, that was a game we should have went on to win. Maybe if Sundire had been substituted for A Jones things would have been different. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but Sundire didnít have a good first half, conceding the penalty and getting booked and too many poor passes going out of play.
Trying to run the clock down with the corners, that is what most teams would do, we just seemed to lose possession too quickly with it though.
With Aldershot winning, it now is a a too bigger gap, unless we win 4 of our remaining games. Stranger things have happened. Next up away to Notts County, normally you would say a point there would be good, not in this instance though, we need to win there.

Seems like two points got away today, but we go again

Michael Clunan's goal though........was at thgat end of the ground behind the net and it was majestic.

Reminded me of Georgi Kinkladze for City vs Southampton many moons ago!!
