Great achievement by Heacham to win promotion to the Thurlow Nunn Div One North.   Can see no reason why they won’t be looking for yet another promotion this time next year.   Norfolk teams always seem to do well at Step 6, for example the top two teams in there this year are Harleston and Sheringham.  I think Downham sit 3rd.

Thurlow Nunn Prem will be the big testing ground for them when they reach that level.

What a great success story.  I’m sure Chilly and his partner helped the Club gain this excellent Promotion
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

It is not just about myself and partner Graham, this is about the Heacham family.  The players, managers and coaches, the committee, the amazing band of volunteers and of course the supporters who brave the open parks, home and away (usually outnumbering the opposition support on awaydays).
Yes Double G do their little bit but this is an achievement by lots of dedication week in and week out and obviously we are already working flat out on what needs doing ready for season 2022/23.

Have they had the nod from the Thurlow Nunn on ground grading Gordon ?  It’s good they have the local support coming to watch.   Though people always turn out to watch a winning team and that’s one thing for certain, Heacham are a winning team.

All is good so far with the required work that was needed to complete by the 31st of March. After 10+ months the planning permission has been granted for the floodlights that need to be in place by the end of September. I ordered the new dugouts 2 weeks ago but they are not due in the country until early May.
With such a varied band of volunteers and committee everyone is doing their bit to be ready for the next step forward.
As for following a winning team, this is a CLUB not just 1 team. Everyone from the youngest Minors teams through the Minors set up, The Ability team and at the moment the Reserves and the 1st team are all part of this amazing achievement.

No reason that they shouldn’t  go straight through TN Div One North Gordon.  Will start favourites for the title I’m sure.  Another enjoyable season on the way, I would suggest.

Is there any tie up between Lynn and Heacham now or have any ties now been cut ?

I hope you are right Mallard but consolidation first then see where we are at during the season.
I am not aware of any tie up with KLTFC now and i don't suppose the friendly match, part of use of the ground for training, will go ahead now.
Would of been a nice thank you gesture but i am not holding my breath.

I understand that Lynn's u23's will be looking for games. Maybe a chance to kill two birds with one stone?   :dontknow:

I wonder which of the junior teams coaches was offered to go outside and sort the matter out at a very recent meeting.
Didn't realise that possible violent conduct was on the CV.

"We believe we are running the club the right way, you need to make it affordable, enjoyable and welcoming".

If it was that simple everyone would be doing it.  :laughcry:

“I don’t think they are getting all of those things over at The Walks, but their loss is our gain basically.”

I thought the two Clubs had some sort of relationship, other than Lynn previously using Heacham facilities.  Have they had a fall out?   :dontknow:
