Not all doom and gloom in Norfolk, had the pleasure today of watching Heacham lift their trophy. In terms of clubs we couldn't be further apart, was nice to go to a game and feel welcomed by all. Carry on the good work Heacham.

Also at that time Hunstanton had several of my Speedway FC sunday league players making up their team on a saturday. Heacham Social Club FC folded in the middle of this season because of lack of players available. Can anyone name me one single team that is made up entirely of persons from that particular village?7 years ago Heacham FC advertised for a manager and David Griggs was appointed. 7 successive promotions on and look where they are now FLYING rather than FOLDED.Look at cricket locally, exactly the same argument! Basketball the same etc etc.Time to move on.So its nothing new, its about survival Don't think it was a dig aimed at taking the shine off of the tremendous season Gordon, just a general question,as years ago most village teams were made up from the village?
