Bob  or no ?

Your hope maybe well founded  I just cannot see any kind measure from the past that leads you to that conclusion.   If anything quite the opposite.  Look at the numerous false dawns that have been put out there in the past.  Have a read of the programme notes, a listen to the podcasts.  It does paint a sorry picture.

I agree with Mallard.i think the club are in dire straits financially and lack of real assets on the playing side. Unfortunately I can see next season being a real struggle on the field and can only hope the club tries to reconnect with many disillusioned fans. The lack of communication and interaction with the fans has been shocking

Hope springs eternal.

Saddler

SC doesn’t seem to want to let go of anything and appears to Micro manage everything. Something I find very strange, what with his fondness for comments in program, podcast, Twitter and the Norwich paper, is that he lets the Media department do their own thing. It’s a department that is sadly lacking and miles behind other Clubs efforts. He really needs to take this under his wing and up the game which in turn means there will be more interaction between club and supporters. This is very much the shop window for the Club.  He needs a new window dresser.

The whole Club needs stripping back and then reassembled.  However SC will probably think that there isn’t an issue.

Most Football clubs at this level struggle financially.  The gates won't pay anywhere near the cost of running a club.  What you need is really good sponsors who are in for the long term and can see whats possable in the future. The problem with Lynn as it is, won't get good sponsors with this set up. From nest season start afresh with better understanding between SC, the Manager and the fans and all who is involved.

I can't see why not, with all these ex League players only wanting £400 a week!

Which ones of those did we get at £400 a pop ?

I guess next years plans and what went wrong this year SC will deal with in his next podcast.   I thought he was doing one every Month.   Not heard one in April.  No surprise really.

If he or the Club wants to be involved in such things as Podcasts, they need to be on a regular basis (as is his Norwich paper column), and not just when there is an axe to grind.

Supporters need to know know that they can rely on him/club. Regular communication goes a long way to achieving this. Not saying this is the best route to take but if you tell supporters it’s going to be monthly, then monthly it should be.

Was thinking maybe Malc could do a FOTL podcast to let people know of the functions/fund raisers they have planned over the summer.  Hope the weather stays fine for them

Mallard - The slippery nipsters usually do.  Salah, Mane, Diaz, Messi, Xavi, Iniesta  !  Sign ‘em up !  No seriously, we are at last competitive in most matches at NL level.  We could have a good season next year.  I prefer reality to false optimism, but I’m crossing fingers that we can be optimistic for next season…..  We shall see…..
