From Club site:

"In a dramatic turn of events it’s been announced that Chairman Keith “Buster” Chapman has agreed to sell King’s Lynn Town football club to North Norfolk businessman Stephen Cleeve, That ending the 6 year relationship with the football club.

More news will be made to supporters following a press conference that is being held at The Walks as we speak".

The Club has been sold, does this mean the Council have also transferred the lease ?

Well, well Mallard I did not see that coming although there have been several rumours for a few months now. I suspect his commitment to British Speedway has taken up most of his time.
The budget for football could be increased with it being run as a football club, bar, cafe the lot. Only time will tell.
I have to say this could be VERY EXCITING TIMES times indeed.

Only COULD Tazzy ?  I thought you would be waxing lyrical about our new owner.   He seems to like his land deals,  :laughcry: so lucky the Walks is protected.

Banned from being a company director for 8 years and warned by Australian authorities about land deals in the UK!

He is certainly a 'colourful'  character.  I hope he isn't going to come out with promises of League football etc etc.  Has he any connection to the Football Club ? I read he failed in an attempt to buy Wrexham football Club.  Nice piece of land there.  :laughcry:

As for Oz, was he not involved in some kind of TV sting ?  Make interesting viewing that one.

Good point. It will be interesting to hear if its just the Club, or if the Lease is involved as well, as my understanding is that the Council would have to approve any transfer of the lease.
