Just because you charge high admission prices doesn't necessarily mean it is invested in players.  Even if it was it doesn't guarantee you success on the field of play, take a look at Wrexham on that score, defeated in the FA Trophy Final and knocked out of the National League play offs all in the space of six days.

I thought Mr Pierpoint was angling on community engagement, well i don't see any of that reflected in this seasons admission prices. A £1 reduction on general admission prices, the return of premier seating at £22 regardless of what category you are, £10 for a child to sit in the wings of the stand and the usual pitiful season ticket value for money. So much for a rethink for the 2022/3 season.

Are Lynn the only club that don't offer early bird offers on season tickets?

Why aren't the ordinary season tickets  being discounted to the same level as the Premier Seating season tickets?

Has Pierpoint had any involvement in pricing or it purely down to Mr Cleeve?

If BP was not involved in pricing as CEO then the writing is on the wall for him.  Begs the question can SC actually let go of the reins.

Clubs will charge what they think they can get away with.  The proof of the pudding etc.  If we are winning we should be hitting a 1,000 average.  If not then take your pick on numbers.

SC got it wrong on the pricing structure last season and was forced into reducing it.  Maybe if the fans feel unhappy at next season admission cost they can raise with BP at the fans meeting. I’m sure he won’t want his first ever meeting with the fans to get off on the wrong foot.

Once you get on to one particular fairground ride and it’s set in motion, it’s difficult to get off.

Early days for BP, but so far it seems like the same old strategy as in previous seasons.

I think supporters  who purchase seating tickets should get a 50 % discount. How many more years have we got to sit amongst all the pidgeon  **** it's disgusting. Shouldn't think it's been cleaned for years.

So the ticket prices have been announced, which I feel are fair apart from one
or two small changes, but still we have a few supporters who still want more, some
times I wonder when will they be happy, in the UCL ECL at about £8, no thank you.
 Someone mentioned that Barrie Pierpoint wanted to make the club more for the
community when talking about ticket prices, the man has been here about 2weeks
and wait and see what he has got planned, what I can see of him so far he will not be
messing about by what I have heard so far,
       As for Pigeon mess I could not agree more it is not good, But if someone
could help clear it up I'm sure the club would be very grateful for your help.

Club taking a fair bit of stick on various social media in terms of the pricing alongside some who appreciate that any squad, particularly a competitive one needs to be funded somehow.  I still think some of this could have been avoided, or at least reduced, had they scrapped season tickets for this year as that seems to be the main point of criticism and this may only grow if the club takes the decision to adjust pricing in mid-season in an effort to boost attendances if that is deemed necessary again.  Whilst there will always be those who think any price is too high not issuing season tickets would allow more time for BP to gauge feeling around pricing and maybe try out some different options over the course of the season, whether that be categories, multi match discounts etc

I think its fair to say that all supporters understand that a squad needs to be funded.

Its not all about what the Club needs, its also about what its customers are prepared and able to pay.

Customers ?  Is this Tesco’s or The Local Football Club ?   What customer’s will pay is the going rate.  Supporters will always be prepared to go that extra mile.   Maybe that’s what SC and BP are basing the admission on.  You are right what you say.  Hopefully the supporters have the means to pay the entrance fee asked.

Maybe if the new money man hits the ground running it can reap rewards and reduce the price?
