Customers ?  Is this Tesco’s or The Local Football Club ?   What customer’s will pay is the going rate.  Supporters will always be prepared to go that extra mile.   Maybe that’s what SC and BP are basing the admission on.  You are right what you say.  Hopefully the supporters have the means to pay the entrance fee asked.

The start to next season (opening game 6th Aug) will set the tone for the season in terms of gates.   Let’s hope Tommy hits the ground running.

Customers.  Treated the same as tesco treat their's.
And much the same community involvement.

at least Tesco don't charge full price for their extra value products

Probably more community involvement,as they always raise money for local charities.

Maybe Barry can get in  his ear and earn himself some brownie points with the fans.

A good test.

A47.Clear it up and bury it under all the BS.Nobody will see it then

Last season I was so fed up with the bird mess on my regular seat at the hospital end, I phoned Mark and he let me into the stand to clean my seat, along with the other 38 seats on the front row, I used my own cleaning products.

Club taking a fair bit of stick on various social media in terms of the pricing alongside some who appreciate that any squad, particularly a competitive one needs to be funded somehow.  I still think some of this could have been avoided, or at least reduced, had they scrapped season tickets for this year as that seems to be the main point of criticism and this may only grow if the club takes the decision to adjust pricing in mid-season in an effort to boost attendances if that is deemed necessary again.  Whilst there will always be those who think any price is too high not issuing season tickets would allow more time for BP to gauge feeling around pricing and maybe try out some different options over the course of the season, whether that be categories, multi match discounts etc

I think its fair to say that all supporters understand that a squad needs to be funded.

Its not all about what the Club needs, its also about what its customers are prepared and able to pay.

Simple answer is don't get a season ticket, pay on the day. Hope you have got yours loops, and all geared up to be chief programme seller? :dontknow:

Nothing wrong with the pricing provided we have a team worthy of it.   Top price, so I expect the team to at least be in the play off position all season.  That seems fair and equitable to me.

I understand where you are coming from, and the pricing may be what's needed to achieve a play off place at the minimum.

The other side of the coin is what people are willing or, more importantly, able to pay. It's no good trying to charge top dollar if the people don't come through the turnstiles because of it.

Charging the maximum amount possible that one individual believes is an amount required to fund his personal dream, hasn't really worked in the past.

I doubt that any home work or research was performed with regards to how much his customers were prepared or able to pay (i.e. what their view of things are), even though we hear that they believe themselves to be a "community club".

For me it’s quite simple.   Winning team the fans pay the asked for figure in numbers.  Mid table team will give the fans all the excuses not to turn up.  Over to Tommy.

No good SC bleating if the team is not up there and the fans don’t come.

Quite a short post, and haven’t posted in a while.

I was priced out of getting a season ticket last year, but planned to still go to about 80% of games. I went to 2.

With a pay freeze and rising costs, I couldn’t justify spending that much on leisure time with three kids. Not that I couldn’t afford it, but it simply wasn’t value for money for a day out. So I stopped going.

When this years prices came out, I came to the realisation that Lynn just aren’t my team anymore. Kind of gone off football in general. It’s a shame, but how it is.

I know for a fact, you are far from unique in the position.
The club doesn't care, it's as simple as that.  I've never known a club that has such little respect for it's supporters. Nothing ever done for the fans. No player of the season awards for a start.  So many people just don't care about the club now, as that's the way the club thinks about the fans. Take, take, take from the club with nothing ever offered in return.
We fans pay our money and watch a game. That's all we're there for.  Never ANYTHING until the club wants more money. People are fed up with it.
