Comings and goings?

Well that's another week over and another week nearer the start of the season still no news of any incoming players whilst other clubs go about their business of player recruitment.
As least we were treated to a laugh as  Mr Cleave  outlined his hopes of signing AC/DC up for a gig!
Think Sheps Banjo Boys a better bet! Almost as delusional of him getting Kings Lynn into the football League -remember that one? 😂😂

 

Not seen this myself so I’ll take your word for it.

I would think bands such as this have their bookings arranged st least 2 years ahead.

God only knows how much they would charge, but a “top” tribute band can cost 10k.

Bands such as this can still fill stadiums of 50,000 people. I doubt they would bother getting out of bed for much less than half a million.

Maybe the Sports England loan has been held back to fund this event.

There was an event in Peterborough very recently, featuring top tribute bands. Very successful.

This is something that could be achieved at Lynn rather than talking of Bands such as AC/D.C.
(or having one of the Spice Girls at a game for a half time penalty shoot out 😂😂😂).

Far more realistic and actually possible.

There won't be four events per year in my opinion,
So let's hope the ones the club do are at a decent standard
And not mediocre

Not seen this posted elsewhere, SC was on the Chris Goreham show on Radio Norfolk on Thursday morning predominately to speak about the events licence but at the end of the interview he was asked about how the squad was shaping up and said he was expecting another couple (up to four) signings but there would be a couple leaving prior to this.  I think both of those numbers are on the low side but maybe TW is happier with the current squad than I am, ultimately he responsible for performances on the pitch this season and his job depends on getting that balance right.

If the Chairman has said 2 to 4 players coming in and a couple leaving, then I guess we have to believe its the true. It would be pointless him saying anything other than the truth.

I see Cameron King has gone back to play for Thetford in the Thurlow Nunn.  Have Heacham have missed a trick there ?

If Cameron lives in Norwich it is 30 mins to Thetford on dual carriage way.

When he finished playing for Norwich did he start playing again at Thetford when Danny White was manager. Certain it's his local side.

He played for Thetford in the 2016-17 season before going on to Shamrock Rovers.
