Thanks Jono,  I’m putting it down too to much sun  :laughcry:.  In fairness Clunan wasn’t listed in the programme I looked at, must have been injured.  Either way just shows the dramatic turnover of players over the last 2/3 years
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

So we have what looks like an exciting new striker in the squad which we have all been asking for and all we get are 2 comments from Tony M & Mallard.
Typical lack of response when something good happens but plenty to say about negative things.
You're very quiet B&G, usually got plenty of negative.

An extremely negative post talking about negativity.

Nice one Norm.

I must say I feel quite positive about the new season.   Last time we played at this level we won it, as part timers.   This season we have a squad made up of players who in the main have played at National League level.  TW has put all the bits in place for a successful term.  Proper training facilities, overnight stays.

The Club off the field is looking more impressive with a new, experienced CEO and the staff he has been busy appointing.

Get that open top bus provisionally booked SC we could be into something.   The fixtures look to have been kind to us in the opening few games.  So the crowds should be coming back as well.

All positives to me.

I don't want to appear negative (  :laughcry: ), but as can be seen by my previous posts since he's been here, I think TW is the man for the job and that we can expect some exciting times from him. Who knows where we would have been if he had joined us just a couple of games before he did.

His choice of players now, training facilities befitting a full time squad, proper diets, no hopping off the coach straight onto the pitch after a long journey as the Lads will be staying over the night before.

Getting this together, after the turmoil of last season, is no mean achievement in itself.

If you get everything right off the pitch, and the foundations put in before you start rather than trying to play catch up, you must have a far better chance of success on the pitch.

Yes Mallard, everything TW has done so far appears positive.

grow up normski.People can't be blamed if some dont think 6 from 55 is exciting at Wrexham

Very true but it's like a glass coffin.
Remains to be seen... :welcome:

Interestingly Lynnski when you look at his career stats from July17 to May 22 it is 37 starts and 17 goals which is a good return nearly a goal every other game.
By counting in substitute appearances it can distort any figures as after all some of those could have been near the end of games just to use up time.
More interesting than sub appearances is only 37 starts in 5 years which is very low by any ones standard, I wonder what is behind that figure ?

Regarding Ponticelli, 1 Wrexham fan on FB reckons he's a hard worker and surprised he went to us and not an EFL side, whilst another likened him to someone chasing a carrier bag around a car park

Looks like we could be in with a chance of a really good season and who knows how far we can go. Looking forward to the start of the season and see how we do in the first 5 or so matches. Onwards and upwards  :scarf:  :welcome: to our new players.

With two new strikers onboard, things could get very interesting in terms of systems that Tommy will play.   Have to think the two new boys will be looking to start at this level as would Gold.

Do we think we won’t be seeing Charles anymore at the Club ?  Was that another SC signing ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?
