They bring different things to Gold (Omotayo), who brings a different thing to Zain Walker, who brings a different thing to Ken Charles"  I wasn't aware that Charles had figured yet in preseason and just assumed he was Trialist X somewhere else?  Likewise I am not sure what the 'different thing' Walker brings is, maybe someone who has been to the friendlies can provide an answer?  TW also talks about having two or three of these (which doesn't include Barrett) on the pitch whenever he can, personally I think that would be a big ask of the other lads, particularly in midfield but he is certainly sounding upbeat and we seem to have been competitive in the games against Norwich and MK so fingers crossed this can be carried into August when the real games start.

I listen to that interview Tony,  yes TW was certainly upbeat.  With the way pre-season has gone so far he must be.

Classic comment from Lakey in the interview when they were discussing the Aussie right back who is on trial.  ‘Is he local’ ? says Lakey.  Maybe the sun had got to him.  TW replied ‘Sydney’
