Every which way this makes perfect sense.  Good on Posh for agreeing to change the date at such short notice.

Common sense prevails!
In addition to the extreme heat if they haven't fixed the sprinkler system the pitch will be rock hard and it would be like playing on concrete,it would be stupid to get players injured so close to the season starting.

Agree, but if Sprinklers haven't been on (I would guess they have), it will still be rock hard tomorrow night.

I wonder what Football will do, in general if we get more of this kind of overpowering hot weather on an August Saturday at 3pm ?

1-0 win tonight.

I don't know the official attendance figure but it was estimated by someone at the game to be about 250.

Report in the EDP suggests the scoreline may not have reflected the balance of play but can't take away the fact that we again appear to have held our own against a higher league opposition, can anyone comment on the balance of the team Peterborough brought in terms of their first team experience?

Only real concern is the post on Twitter this evening saying Saturday's friendly against Fakenham is off and the club is appealing for any club that can host them, not ideal for TW.

Can’t be anything other than impressed with the preseason.  Be interesting to see what part the likes of McFadden and Barrett will play coming the start of the season.

One thing I find interesting is that we have had a keeper on trial all the way through.  So have to assume as we have had one trial we are going to run with a 2nd keeper for the coming season.  Otherwise why bother having a look at one ?
