Barrie Pierpoint

I've heard from various, what I would regard as reliable, sources at the Club/close ties, that BP has resigned from his position at the Club.

Obviously we await confirmation (or otherwise) of this.

I've also been told that this is actually the second time he has resigned but was persuaded to come back the first time.

So, very strong rumours from people that would know about such things, but no Club confirmation as yet.

I’m surprised he lasted this long.  What’s next?

Is that BP or BF?

It’s BP, if the rumours are true.  A47 can you confirm or should I phone the Club and ask ?

He didn’t last long. Now what happens ?  All those jobs he advertised, both paid and unpaid.  Is it all back to square one now ?

Maybe SC can tell the fans what’s going on.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Barrie Pierpoint is a highly successful businessman and I'm pretty sure he has other interests outside Lynn FC. No idea of the reason why he resigned maybe SC will tell us in time!

Can anybody say they really surprised.?
The guy is obviously no fool and probably worked out pretty quickly he was working for the biggest clown around.
I wouldn't hold your breathe waiting for an explanation from the owner

And there was me getting all excited that we have a more professional approach across the board this season with the team and back room staff….and this happens. Didn’t know the bloke but talked the talk, seemed to be moving things along commercial wise, then kappow he’s gone. It’s not going to all implode….is it. :scarf:

He had a pop at me a few weeks ago when I was, shall we say, less than complimentary about Mr. C.

Perhaps he has realised what I meant by ' poisoned chalice'.

Saw Midway the other night. Some bloke put a long knife in his chest. I think things hadn't gone his way.  :laughcry:

Let's not forget that its still to be confirmed please.

I have no reason to doubt its true or I wouldn't have started the thread, but I think the serious questions should wait until there has been official confirmation or otherwise, and the reasons we are given as to why he has left.

Two sides too every coin.   Maybe SC had waited patiently to see what BP was going to bring to the Club.   Maybe things didn’t materialise in the way the owner hoped.  IF Stephen was paying out good money and not seeing any sight of a return then who could blame the parties for shaking hands and calling it a day.

I think that may depend on who's holding the coin.  :)

Kings Lynn FC is a business, and do not cover their outgoings , with business income!!  With that; once sugar daddy stops propping up the enormous financial outgoings, going into liquidation is the outcome.
