Gold was much maligned, hopefully he continues to prove the doubters wrong :scarf:

3 points on the Road, clean sheet.  Boston thrashed at home. Happy Saturday
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Happy days indeed.

Over at Posh, ex Linnet Joe Taylor came on from subs bench today. Nice to see things happening for him.

Yes.

I seem to remember hearing that Posh paid 2k as a goodwill gesture?   :dontknow:

What’s that about 98k short of his value?  I see he replaced Jack Marriott today.  How much did Derby pay for him !

Really pleased for Omotoyo today. I didn’t rate him last season, but TW obviously believes he is good enough, so we have to trust his judgement. Bradford PA are the bookies rank outsiders to win the NLN, the whether that turns out to be justified, only time will tell.
There are several positives to take from today, a win, away from home, on a plastic pitch, clean sheet, Omotoyo scoring (great confidence booster for him). I’m sure he believes in his own ability, so hopefully todays goal was his first of many.
Well done to all the team and TW. Looking forward to our home game v Blyth.

Good start - but we still need one or two more who can score regular goals - and not necessarily strikers…..

Can't argue with three points on the road on the opening day with Gold up and running another big positive, particularly coming from an assist from Ponticelli, something Wrexham fans said was a feature of his game.  TW looking for us to be a tighter outfit than last time we were at this level (wouldn't be hard) meaning we don't need to score twice just to get a point.
