Lynn reformed and played at just one level higher than Heacham.  Played there for two seasons.  Reached a Vase semi and Buster and JC were attracting decent gates.   Seem to remember the fans enjoying giving some teams a good thumping.

Didn’t we start with a 2-1 defeat at Long Buckby ?

..............who also beat us to the title.

At least one of their players joined us and played a massive part in the following seasons, becoming a fan's favourite, and helped us gain promotion.

                     ..................................................................................

The "village team" achieved a 3-0 away win to a well established "Town" team last night.

I don’t think it was Long Buckby who won the title that first season. That honour went to St Neots.

Long Buckby won the League the following season but then declined to take the one promotion spot, so with Lynn being runners up we went up in thier place.

The following season saw 3 players join us from Long Buckby.    Bunting, Quigley and Dunkly.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Bingo!
