Lost 1-0 to a 20 yard shot across the keeper. Heacham had most of the play second half and hit the post but Framlingham defended well.

Heacham certainly not out classed by a side that reached the play offs last season.

That was an enjoyable afternoon in the sun at a well run club.

B&G it was 145. brilliant goal from a mostly young Framlingham team. There 4 was possibly one of the youngest on the pitch but what a player. All apart from the 4 converted to hoof ball second half defending the Alamo siege. Plenty of time wasting tactics. Game neither side deserved to win over the 90 minutes, draw would of been a fair result.
Home again to Gt Yarmouth next saturday.

I see Gt Yarmouth’s ground ( The Wellesley) has been give near on £1m for improvements including a plastic pitch.   The money has come from The FA, Premier League and Gt Yarmouth Borough Council.   All that for a step 6 club.

What are we doing wrong ?? :scarf:

Yes, that’s the figure I was given but also that there were 50 sponsors (and the like) there.   :dontknow:

Thought this too.  Don't know why we even discuss Heacham. OK it's local but this is a Linnets forum. Just saying :scarf:

Is it not good to appreciate a local success story?   After all there are plenty of Lynn connections.

They were good enough to let us train there last season

The thread has the title "Heacham".

Therefore, being a football forum, I think most people would understand the thread would be about Heacham FC.

With the discription being so clear, maybe those that are not interested in the subject should just avoid reading it and not to be too bothered about others enjoying reading it.

"Problem" solved.
