Excellent 3 points.   Heat must have been something else.  Maybe what kept the crowd on the 800’s.  Over a 1,000 for Tuesday night ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Nice to look at the top half of the table for a change.

Good win for the Linnets though disappointing crowd really.
Hopefully nine points from 3 games after Tuesday night and a bigger crowd.
What happened the new player coming in before today's game?

Only two teams with Maximum points after two games.... Banbury and ?

Other results Heacham win their first ever game at step 6. Beating Gt Yarmouth 3-1

Lowestoft won 3-0 with Hendo amongst the scorers.  Seems like they have signed a few players from Dereham which is no surprise when considering the Ex Dereham Manager has gone to Crown Meadow as Assistant

I wasn't there today,  too hot with my other problems.
Hopefully be in attendance Tuesday, hoping for a win and a  plus thousand crowd. :scarf:

You have to be satisfied with the result, two very good goals and a clean sheet. Crowther and Coulson look good. Barrett was always looking for something spectacular, when a pass would have been better, still looks far from fully fit.
Attendance says everything, there simply isn’t enough interest in and around the town. I’m sure that will improve if we keep winning with good performance. Omotoyo did well, what a player he would be if he good score regularly.
Extremely hot conditions, so well done to all the team, you should all be proud of yourselves today.

Fair crowd but disappointing Blyth Spartans travelling fans. A mere handful on the Terraces and a smattering in the Stand.

It’s a long way for them to travel and on such a hot day when there are probably better ways to spend a glorious weekend day after being at work. How many Lynn fans would have travelled to Blyth had it been at their place.
Clubman rightly awarded man of the match, was very good today.
Barrett needs to remember it’s a team game and pass the ball rather than try and beat his man all the time.

Really good first half, players looking comfortable in their positions and roles and good passing and movement, particularly considering the conditions.  Blyth came back a bit after drinks in the first half but never really threatened.  Second half less impressive as TW swapped things around to accommodate a far from fit Barrett which allowed Blyth to get more of a foothold although they didn't really have the quality to make anything of the increased possession.  Good strike by TW jnr finished the game as a contest and allowed TW to rest Gold who looked more commanding than at any point last season.

Lots of positives to take into Tuesday evening although tougher tests than Blyth to come.  As for the crowd, I didn't think just short of 900 was too bad, Blyth is a long way trip and money is tight for many, both home and away fans
