Real 'short, sharp shower' on the Hardwick around 4pm which had it been for any prolonged period would certainly have put paid to tonight's game, all cleared up now with just a few small puddles, sun is out so hopefully as still OK at the Walks this evening

As for the game, Brackley are likely to pose harder opponents than we have faced to date but don't think they are yet the side that finished in the playoffs in previous seasons as they look to bed in replacements for the players they lost during the off season.  Our starting XI looked good at the weekend so hopefully the same lineup assuming Jones has recovered, hopeful of another 3 points and maybe a few more than Saturday although can't see it breaking the 1000 mark.

Oh no, hope the weather doesn't stop Heacham from training

Not with their pitch and facilities, so no need to worry about that.

Apparently there are roadworks and traffic lights on Tennyson Avenue tonight.

Thanks to the forum user that sent this information, and requested it's shared with his fellow supporters.

It is a single lane and there are traffic lights between Extons Road and the mini roundabout near the Goodwins Hall Care Home (this section is actually part of Goodwins Road).          Tennyson Avenue is the other side of the railway lines from the football ground.

Good game to watch and Brackley certainly a step up from Blyth at the weekend but thought it was an impressive all round performance as the team stuck to their task and two carbon copy goals from Gold from Denton's deliveries secured a deserved three points.  Midfield three struggled to get the upper hand first half but kept going and whether it was Brackley tiring or just trying to defend what they had, we controlled things more second half, Theo MotM for me but could easily make a case for a number of others

Think last night we huffed and puffed in the first half and looked very predictable going forward.

Second half showed what a fit side we are.  We raised the tempo and kept going and going till we got ourselves level.  Then we went again even harder at them.

This side that TW has put together isn’t the prettiest but they work their buns off and are at it for 90 mins.  It’s the type of team that can’t allow for anything under 100% effort if they want to win Football matches.

Think we are a bit better than that Mall, Brackley closed us down well in the midfield last night so Clunan and Hargreaves had to sit in more but their movement is far more than just work rate, likewise with both wing backs and then Denton when we went to a four.  Ponticelli never stops running but on top of that he still manages to hold the ball up well with a good first touch and regularly brought midfielders into the game both at the weekend and last night.

All about opinions Tony.  Thought Brackley were on par with us but we out battled them over 90 mins and ground them down.  Typical example is Ponticelli he is at it for 90 mins.  Looks to press all the time.  Never giving defenders a moments rest.   Does a helluva lot of unselfish work that in the main goes unnoticed.

Followed it on the Trust posts.  I imagine Barrett would have made the difference, even though he didn’t have long, but good players always keep opponents more on the back foot than coming at us as often.  Well done to the team.  Still need a nipster with goals in him, imho…

I see there is no video highlights of the game against Brackley. Is the media team still in around or have they fallen by the wayside. Good job we have WLM on Saturdays and midweek home games to keep us up to date. Best of luck to TW and the team at Telford this weekend. Bet there will be highlights on You Tube by Tuesday. Thanks Grissles. How did I miss that. I looked on YouTube this morning nothing came up, was this because I looked on the Lynn site and not the National League North. If so I will have to change my subscription.  Thanks again Grissles.
