Ticket Prices
« on: May 27, 2016, 11:48:32 AM »
Stephen Cleeve the new Chairman of Kings Lynn Town has today confirmed that the prices of all non corporate tickets for next season will be frozen, as will the Reserves and Under 18s tickets.

In addition the Under 16 concession will be extended to Under 18  Stephen commented “With so many youngsters remaining now in education until 18 it is rare for the under 18s to go into full time paid employment and we need to ensure that they can afford to come and support the Linnets so we will extend the concession to everyone under the age of 18 allowing entry for just £4 and of course the under 11s will still gain free entry to the Walks.”

Makes good sense - anything that encourages the younger generation?

A nice positive move, (one I spoke to Mr Setchell about a year or so ago) especially the age moving up but with most further education courses lasting two years, students will bypass the age of 18 in their 2nd year , some from September, with the arguments put forward surely the age should be under 19's.

It's not about that at all.
It the logic of the situation using the facts and the rationale argument used by the club to move the age up.
It should of been U'17's previously to keep all secondary children attending up to the end of their Gcse's.

Keep the young fans together and coming to the club, Do Not split them up.

Scenario, So my child turned 18 in September and is in the second year of sixth form , Do I suddenly have the extra to give them to attend games whilst still in the same college situation. No is the answer, so they stop going, fnd alternative entertainment and are lost to the club.
Bigger Picture thinking.

A step in the right direction, as most youngsters are at school until eighteen and beyond.
I would like it to go further and providing students show their student card let them in for£4 as well.
What do you think Mr. Cleeve?
