......as Lynn dominate play but fail to convert chances to goals scored.

1-1.

Unlucky today, had enough chances to win comfortably. 13 points from a possible 15 is very good. No criticism today, the team played well, just needed to take the chances that came their way. Good to see an increase in the attendance too.

Can't argue with that.
Should have been well ahead before conceding, and still had chances after their goal.
Can't win them all, but should have won that game.
Still top, and unbeaten,  looking far better as a team than last season.
Having over a thousand there is a bonus, and I must say,  about time!

Shame we didn't capitalize on our dominance. We were the best team by far!  Still, unbeaten so far and still top of the league. I'll take that. Thought we played pretty good. It was also good to see the gate over 1000 :scarf:

Really don’t know how I feel after that one.   Loads of positives.  Tai Fleming coming in seamless at the back.  Jones flying down the right at every opportunity.  Clunan impressive.   Gate of over 1000.  Chances galore created.

All of the above yet I feel disappointed that we dropped two points.  Scruffy piece of defending by Coulson giving Leamington a chance inside the 6 yard box.   Should have have won easily,  but woeful finishing kept Leamington alive and interested.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Mallard, there were loads of positives and on another day we would have won that game. A prolific goal scorer would have most likely took those chances, I don’t think we have that. Had we have scored right at the end and won, then everyone would be happy and overlooked all the chances where we could / should have scored.
I think it would be more worrying if we weren’t creating chances, today was a lesson that missing chances will cost points.
To be fair to the team, it wasn’t for the lack of trying. I think there was a lot of pressure on the team, with the expectation. No complaints from me today, the team gave everything and were unlucky not to win. Should all have a rest day tomorrow and hopefully carry on where they left off on Monday with attacking football.
Still very early days, but so much more pleasing to watch than last season.

Didn't go yesterday but heard the Radio Norfolk interview with Hugo and agreed with most of what he said, would certainly take 13 points after 5 games and bigger worry would be if we weren't creating chances, on to Peterborough tomorrow which looks likely to be the toughest test so far

Unlucky, but I agree with John H that we still need a goalscorer..  We have done since Marriott.  I’d go further and say we need an “on the ground” chance-taker….  shall I say Nipster ?!!
