A game of two halves.....
« on: September 03, 2022, 04:59:06 PM »
.......Lynn give up a 3 goal half time lead, to draw 3-3 away to Chester.

79 Lynn fans travelled.

Lynn remain unbeaten.

I have to say I'm quite disappointed after being 3.0 up.  We should have buried the game, full stop. On the bright side still unbeaten and an away point. :scarf:

Would have taken a point on the road before the game.  However to be 3-0 up and with our defensive record I can’t think anyone saw that 2nd half coming.

We have looked pretty tight at the back this season.  Did Chester find a way to unlock our defence ?

Well we got a real Linnets back today world beaters for 45 minutes then a defensive shambles
Any chance we can get hold of the script of Mr Motivators half time speech and game plan
It must have been a masterclass ineptitude to throw away a three goal half time lead

Would love to read and hear Tommy’s take on the game today.  Sadly nothing on the Clubs website .  EDP has only an outline of the game today.  Did we have anyone there from the Media team, or don’t they do away games.

Still should be use to it.

Poor result in the end ONLY......because we were in front by 3-0...still a draw on your travels against a team I suspect will be In or around the top six at the final stage will be suffice👍
I’m sure there are many more surprises along the way, but at least this season bar an injury list we will be pushing at the high end of the table if bank holiday Monday was anything to go by👊🏼
Great effort by the 79 away support on the road👏🏻👏🏻

If you take the ‘emotion’ out of the game everyone would take a 3-3 draw.  Just that going on 3-0 up at the break should have been job done.   Leaves some big questions with the defence and maybe the attitude of the players.  I do wonder if the schedule has caught up with the players with very little squad rotation taking place.

Still we have back to back home games which both look very winnable, coming up.  Top
Of the League, unbeaten.   What’s not to like.  Glass half full.

Maybe they should inviting you to come back into the fold if you are the only one prepared to travel.   I thought Reg was paid to cover games home and away ?

You moaned about me doing it before if I remember rightly, just don’t agree with the football club tweeting things as if they are at the game when they quite clearly aren’t.  Very very embarrassing if you ask me!

Surely someone is better than no one. So why not  ask SC for your old job back.   Maybe the Club should have a backup by using a couple of fans who they know will be there come rain or shine to feedback a match report at some point.

I’d have thought Tommy would want the Clubs own home and away Videos to help in analysing the games when he takes training. Far better having your own than relying on other clubs various efforts.

Could be seen to be as important as having the science team working in the background.
