Buxton at home
« on: September 08, 2022, 06:39:20 AM »
Another very winnable one this.   Plus expect the crowd numbers to keep building.

I do wonder what effect Last Saturday’s 2nd half will have on the players, and indeed TW.  Will he look to change things from a defensive point of view.  Shipping 3 goals must have made him sit up and think at least.

I’m going for a 3-1 win in front of 1050 fans.  With maybe a couple of changes to the line up.

Hopefully we will be hearing Tommy’s through later today as not anything from him for 10 days

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

I think it would have been a valuable lesson to everyone, providing they can rectify it. Better now than at a potentially crucial stage later the season

I guess TW will revert to the 3-5-2 formation that has worked so well this year having gone with a flat back four last week, probably tough on Stephens but team is bigger than an individual.  Also think TW needs to be a bit more flexible with his subs and if we need to look at loans (both in and out) to give genuine options across all areas of the pitch.

Hopefully the current run will convert into a bigger attendance so hoping for a win and 1100 ish through the gate

3-1 win.

900 gate.

Buxton don't have the biggest of gates at home, so would be surprised if many will travel to add to the numbers.

No news as yet.

Apparently all games in Northern Ireland are off, and EFL should be issuing a statement soon.

Non football. The big Craft and Country Fair at Sandringham is now off (as to be expected).

I would be very surprised if the games went ahead, but who really knows.   :dontknow:

I didn't know even know that we were waiting for a Govt. statement. I thought it was down to the governing bodies anyway.
