Alfreton Tuesday night
« on: September 12, 2022, 12:50:28 PM »
Love a Tuesday nighter under lights.   Alfreton are always a tough nut to crack but somehow we seem to manage it.

Going for 2-1 win with 940 there.

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Probably best you check that the game is still on before you travel all that way.

875. 2-0 win.

See what you mean 29 hours to kick off and not a mention on the Clubs website about a game tomorrow night.

Open the gates and they will come attitude ?

Game must be on as Club just tweeted that there's less than 24 hours to go and tickets still available.

A minutes silence will be held.

Can someone at the Club please point out and explain to the media guy (again) that the Queen was not HRH.

It does.

The Queen was Majesty, not HRH.

The Queen would be HRM.

HRH Would be the title given to Princess Anne for example.?

Good to see you back Malc.  Must have been an interesting last few weeks for you

Really? I thought you just wanted to change the name and continue with the previous club and the way it operated.  :dontknow:

im looking forward to tonight and the program notes to read if the chairman has been given the money he is expecting from the friends of the linnets.Or are they going to use it to kick start the new supporters club?

FOTL money will go towards some improvement at the ground and not necessarily just handed over to the chairman. If a new supporters club is started then it will start from scratch with no funds,be interesting if anyone will come forward to start the proceedings to form a supporters club? :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
