Yes, it will be moved to news of ex-linnets in a few days.  :scarf:

Hope he gets more than the 20 minutes that he did in his Lynn 1st team career.

Was plain for anyone who saw him play what a talent he is, and how good he should have been for Lynn.
Shameful how the club treated him.
Wish him all the luck he deserves.

Well, the people at the Club got exactly what they deserved from the deal when he moved on!

Why he was not given the chance to become a  Linnet Legend before moving on, is beyond my comprehension. What an unforgivable missed opportunity on several fronts!!

Didn’t surprise me that IC didn’t rate Joe Taylor enough to give him a chance.  Too many ex-pros talk and think in cliches, and Chairmen employ them on the strength of them sounding like they know the game !  They all talk about “Character, physicality, strength, winning fouls”, etc….That’s how they miss good players…A manager will appear one day who goes on what he can see on the pitch, and not go on the cliches - and he or she will clean up !!!

You mean someone like Pep at Man City or Fergie at United ?  Surely most Managers at our level and above are ex pro’s they can all be winners no more than they can all be losers
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Dilly, your 'jumpers for posts' notion has moved on, sadly.  You and I may have had the benefit 'years ago' of watching the likes of Bobby Charlton who honed his art early by kicking a tennis ball against a wall.. Left foot - Right foot.....    Football is different now, whether we like it or not!
Quite possibly, Joe Taylor was guided through the youth ranks at Lynn, matured accordingly and moved on at the right time for him. All good fortune wished for Joe.

Who knows the full story of what went on behind closed doors.  If Culverhouse takes the same brand of football to Boston then their fans are in for a treat.   We enjoyed a great run under him.  Maybe at a bigger club he will be more appreciated by its owners

Where did you get your information from?  The EDP or the Owner's notes in a match day programme?
