That was pathetic at home to lower league team managed by ex manager and ex players how much more motivation do Lynn players need?
Or perhaps we just wanted some extra cash from a replay ?

You always get upsets in the FA Cup.  Good thing is Tommy has a chance to put things right on Tuesday evening.

Anyone know how many were there from Bedford.

All credit to Setch who  got his boys up for his return.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

It was typical Setch and to be expected.

Hopefully as a Club we didn't underestimate him. I know the supporters wouldn't have done.

Is he in the bar yet?  :laughcry:

I wouldn’t say it was pathetic at all. We moved the ball around well, but without creating many clear chances. We were by far the better side, but that’s the beauty of the FA Cup. The players put in a lot of effort. Full credit to Bedford in securing a home replay. Good to see Gary and Alex back at the Walks, they played a gauge part for us and that shouldn’t be forgotten.
Good that Barrett got a full game, some excellent passing along with his customary ambitious shooting. Thought he did ok. Shame Stephens went off so early, hopefully he will be back soon.
Not disappointed with the result, the effort was excellent and we are still in the FA Cup.

Leamington, Brackley, Bradford P.A and Telford were knocked out by lower league opposition  today.

Not for forgetting Johnno and Bernie of Spennymoor getting beat 2-0 at home by Clitheroe

Think you'll find Clitheroe were the home team.

Agree with you. The passing was very pretty but ineffective. No body in the  side looked on form. Not a great advertisement for the new Lynn

Abject performance to be honest🤔 netherless credit to setchell and co 👏🏻👏🏻
Slight wobbles in the defensive side at the moment of which will quickly have to be
Erased before the replay....1-0 to the linnets🙏🙏🙏

Thought TW summed it up pretty well - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89eGUPKWSQU&t=411s - we were a bit too slow today with a number of players not playing to their usual level and we didn't take our chances when they came, likewise fair credit to Bedford who deserved taking us back to their place on Tuesday evening.

Perhaps the key thing that came out of the interview was TW's comment about others having views without seeing what he sees or walking in his shoes, I was one who though he could use the game to include some who haven't had many minutes this season but I don't think any of those that came in took their chance so can't have any complaints when TW reverts back to the usual faces, either Tuesday evening or for league games, hopefully Stephens is back soon as we lost most of our attacking movement when he went off.

Yes, that’s what I thought too Tony M, after watching TW’s interview. Just because a team plays a level higher doesn’t mean the result is a given, that’s what some people need to appreciate. I thought we dominated the game, we just didn’t create enough real chances. Had Omotayo scored with his header late on, everyone would have been happy. Tony, did you not think Barrett played well. I thought he did ok, did some great passes, he is always going to try the spectacular. I think he reads the game very well and sees things that others don’t.

If we get a result Tuesday night then all is well with the World.  Into the next round where hopefully we get another home tie ( Boston anyone ?), plus SC has an extra payday from the share of what should be a decent gate at The Eyrie.  After his woo is me Column in Saturday’s local rag.

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?
