I think we should concentrate on the replay, before hoping what the next round would bring. If whoever wins the replay, which could go to penalties, has a home tie, then there is added incentive for both teams.
As for Boston, surely you would want one of the lowest ranking teams, but let’s not count our chickens and try and win the replay first.

I’m sure John the Manager and players will be fully focussed on Tuesday night only.  Tommy has said he will have the players up to full steam for the game.

Us as fans can wax lyrical about the future and think positive.  FA Cup, Local rivals Boston at Home, throw in the Culverhouse factor.  All equals a huge gate and a much needed payday for SC.  What’s not to like ?

They should have been up for yesterdays game. I’m sure they were, but there are two teams on the pitch and Bedford did what they needed to do. I’m confident that we can win the replay still, we were the much better team.
Boston at home would be great if we beat them. Think a lesser side would be better, as the big money comes in the ‘proper’ rounds.

Tommy was saying in his post match interview only 3 players were at their normal game, so to me that’s 8 who weren’t.  He was very reassuring that things would be different come Tuesday night.    I have full confidence in TW that will be the case.

As for the hopes for next round.  Let’s hope for the most attractive draw we can in each round.  After all this is a money spinner for the Club and a few good days out.

As the risk of repeating my earlier text what I don't understand is why the Kings Lynn players were not up for it, only 3  playing to their potential and the manager saying they will be up to steam for the replay. Surely if you are a professional  footballer playing in front of over a 1000  supporters against an exmanager and a team full of explayers in the FA cup you must be up for it.
Let's hope the attitude and managers motivational skills improve for Tuesday night or else they will get turned over

Yes, that’s what I thought too Tony M, after watching TW’s interview. Just because a team plays a level higher doesn’t mean the result is a given, that’s what some people need to appreciate. I thought we dominated the game, we just didn’t create enough real chances. Had Omotayo scored with his header late on, everyone would have been happy. Tony, did you not think Barrett played well. I thought he did ok, did some great passes, he is always going to try the spectacular. I think he reads the game very well and sees things that others don’t.

John, I think Barrett will always divide opinions.  I don't think anyone doubts his talent as a footballer but, for me, the reason why TW hasn't started him in a league game this season was clearly visible at the weekend, yes there was the odd pass but it is what he doesn't do that was the problem.  We went with a 3-4-3 to accommodate Josh and with a front three of Omotayo, Stephens and Barrett it was clear that Stephens would have to provide most of the movement, and he did that well until going off injured but replacing him with Walker meant we had a very static forward line and with Clunan having to play deeper in a two rather than three man central midfield we basically only had the wingbacks to provide any sort of movement and that for me, as much as Bedford's effort, is why we had Theo, Coulson, Clunan etc holding the ball longer than the fans and TW would have liked and why our best chances came from the outlet of Jones and Scott.

The team TW has built relies upon the movement of Hargreaves and Clunan from midfield and also Ponticelli, taking two of those players out and compromising the other really showed what a vital part of our attacking play they have all been, I fully expect 'normal service' to be resumed on Tuesday evening, hopefully with a corresponding positive result.
