Curzon Ashton away Saturday
« on: September 21, 2022, 06:07:23 PM »
This looks another winnable game to keep Tommy and the boys unbeaten run going.

Tommy saying he has selection problems but nice problems to have.

What system will he go with ?    McFadden or Denton at the back.  If McFadden then Denton or Scott on the left ?
Midfield does he bring back Clunan after illness or stick with Barrett ?  Up top who does he pair with Gold ?

All in all a nice few problems to address for Tommy.

I’d take a 1-1 draw on the road to keep the run going.

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Hi Mallard, I thought it was about time someone replied. A win would be fantastic, we are getting quite used to it now, so different to last season.
Selection wise, a difficult decision for Tommy, but he hasn’t gone too far wrong this season, so whatever he decides, I’m sure will be the right one. If Clunan is fully recovered, then I can see him starting. Think Hargreaves will start, not so sure about Barrett though if Clunan does.
Gold up front, he has done well and along with his goal threat, he has other attributes. Ponticelli or Stephens, if fit I would sway towards Stephens. Expect McFadden will start, along side Coulson and Crowther.
Certainly got a few options, but of course we have a midweek game too, so that may play a part in Tommy’s plans.
Score prediction CA 0-2 KlL

I suppose it's hoping for too much but, any Radio Commentary  :dontknow:

No.
Earlier in the week, the Radio Norfolk schedule showed that they were covering it - and then it changed to Wroxham v Lowestoft.

At least Kettering have their own commentary.

Had a quick look in on updates today.  Is that really where we are at as a Club ?  The Lynn Media team ( such as they are) just re-wording the posts of the Curzon Twitter feed

Surely SC we can do better than that
