I was using the Stephen Cleeve principles of Math.   10,000 people in for a concert each returning £2.50 on food n drink.

Ok in real terms it makes you 34

Barrett is the most talented player in the club.  To leave the most talented player on the bench for most of the game is a real gift to the opponents.  The selection for The Cup game vs Kettering gives us much more chance of dominating the game, and therefore making more chances.  Best team TW has picked all season.  I know he and the team have done well, but the line-up always look like they’ll scrape it.  This selection looks like they’ll win it.  Although I realise football doesn’t always work out the way you expect.  But it’s a selection I believe we should play in league games, because not only is it attacking, it’s also defending for that very reason !

Please refer to above pre-match post.  Dillification is an exact science. ……. If only we’s picked that selection for Kettering away…

Dilly, as good as we were today, picking that side for league games won't return over 2 points a game.  Absolutely no doubt that Kettering were the worst team to come to the Walks for a long time, that said can only beat the opposition on the day and we did that very well today, Barrett played well and with Stephens and Ponticelli always looking for space he showed his technical ability, repeatedly finding them with good through balls and in fairness we wasted more chances than we scored as Kettering backline looked like rabbits in the headlights.  At the other end we didn't look that secure early on and would probably have been punished by a better side but in the end the scoreline flattered Kettering.  Can't imagine Clunan, Theo and, later in the game, Hargreaves will have many easier games this season but certainly a confidence boosting win after Tuesdays blip

They were the team that beat us last week, even though we can now say they were “the worst team in a long time” etc..  They looked that poor because we at last played all our best attacking players. If we’d had that team out last week, they would have looked poor again.  We can’t expect  to get our best results if our best players are watching the game !  We hear so many cliches, at all levels, like “Minutes, winning or drawing the foul, strength, physicality, etc.”. The best teams win games and trophies because they are full of good players.  As I’ve bored people with, here and with pals(!) you never see Klopp or Guardiola drawn into “aren’t we technical”, they merely smile at such concepts, because they adhere to the motto that “football is a simple game” !  Doesn’t really matter in these serious times, as football is way down the list of things that matter. I respect all opinions on here, but just think that if our players are up their end (pardon the expression), they’re no up ours, so we have the best chance of winning.

Rejoinder to the last post…..  Pep must have been listening to this conversation !  He just said, prior to the game today… “I’ve never won a game as a Manager - the players do”….  ABSOLUTELY !
