Fa Cup saturday
« on: September 29, 2022, 10:15:18 AM »
I see from the main page that Kettering are the all time top scorers in the FA Cup with 908 goals, 2 ahead of Premier League Spurs.
Quite an achievement. Am i right in thinking that Kings Lynn held a recoerd in the late 90's early 20's of winning the most FA Cup games?
Another little piece of info is that KLTFC will still be top of the league on saturday night despite being in cup action.
Let's hope that they actually supply some action after all the reports of their performance on Tuesday at Kettering. That info also came from people who were at Holbeach v Heacham last night that had also been at Kettering the night before.

Heacham missed the chance of regaining top spot last night, when they were held to a draw away at Holbeach.

Certainly did B&G against a very youthful Holbeach team. Fletcher Toll heading Heacham into a 1-0 lead 2 minutes after the half time restart to then Holbeach equalising later in the half from a well taken lob.
Very end to end 90+minutes with a draw a fair result for both teams.
Good turnout of away support for Heacham along with some that also support KLTFC and who were at Kettering the night before.
Huge away game on saturday where Heacham take their unbeaten away record to 3rd place Cornard who have games in hand over Heacham and Framlingham.

Unbeaten record GC ?  Thought they had two League defeats already.  Or were they suffered at home
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Good luck to Heacham on Saturday.

Both defeats so far at home. First game against top of the table Framlingham who literally had one shot (a worldie) and scored.and the other 1-2 to Holland. Unbeaten in all league and cup games away so far.
