Stephen Cleeve Podcast
« on: September 30, 2022, 11:19:13 AM »
The chairman has finally put up a new podcast after 6 months.

Guest is the Gateshead Chairman who comes across very well in the interview and gives a good insight into the runnings of a Club of that size.  Average gate of 900 when winning the NLN last season.  Said it cost 7 figures to run a club like theirs.   They have a Supporters Trust who own 25% of the Club along with 4 other main shareholders.  Each have to pay their way and make up the shortfall, each season.

SC also stated he was now looking for outside investment and was in talks with various people both home and abroad.  We can’t keep punching above our weight with low crowds and we need more through the gate.

Plenty of other snippets in the Podcast.  Give it a listen

Not forgetting the new scoreboard.

Cost of advertising 1-2k if anyone is interested (or you know anyone that could be interested).

First they fascinate the fools, then they attempt to gag the intelligent.

Outside investment. All their names must be on the table along with all the big sponsor deals, commercial team etc etc etc that has been spieled for to many years.
Who in their right mind would want to invest in (google) Stephen Cleeve of Norfolk.

Plenty of other snippets in the Podcast.  Give it a listen

Surely you will be straight on the phone to SC ready to put a sizeable investment into the Club.  You might have to move quickly to avoid disappointment.   I mean the  Stand naming has already gone
