The team that thumped Kettering, please!  If we’re at their end, they will be too!  If we sit back, they’ll get twice as many chances, and obviously then be more likely to beat us.  1200 crowd, 2-1 win to KLTFC….fingers crossed.

Darlington are a much team than what Kettering were. Having said that, I don’t think there is any team in this league that we should change too much for when we are at home. So, I agree with Dilly, similar line up to that of the Kettering game.

Yes, it’s a slippery team.  Too often in the era just past, our slipperier players were usually watching from the bench, while the team laboured under various defensive “systems”.  Good players win matches, not systems or managers.  Steven Gerrard, many will have believed, “knows” the game.  Dillification insists on managers who ignore cliches like “character”, “going with a 3 or a four”, “winning fouls”, but who can see what’s going on in front of them, and pick the best/slipperiest players in the club.  Dillification rules !!!!!

Recent events probably show that he could play the game, but that "knowing it", is a different matter.

Seems there are far more strings to Tommy’s bow than you give him credit for.  3-0 beating of 2nd in the table all with one up top.  No gung ho today but still the right result.

I actually give TW great credit!  He was one defender more than I would have played, but still nipsterism in that team.  Thank goodness Barrett is now being used,   It is a much more attacking team than last season.  An excellent result.  This team has nip,,and tuck!  We have nipsters!  But I’d like to see the Kettering demolishes against Banbury….

I think TW deserves enormous credit.   He has various formations now he can call on.   Any scouts watching Lynn for the opposition We are playing shortly won’t be too sure on what to go back with in terms of a report as it could be all quite different.

Take today.  I would wager Darlo had no idea that Gold wasn’t going to start until the team sheet came in.  Giving Alun Armstrong 45 mins to sort out how they would combat us.  Obviously it must have totally thrown in as he pulled two players off before half time.  In an attempt to go like for like and stop his team being overrun

If only he’d played the team that thrashed Kettering in the away game, we’d be in an even stronger position.  The big difference this season, or more accurately recently, is that we have our danger men  playing against “them”, instead of opponents playing their danger men against us!
