New signing ?

On yesterday post match interview TW speaks about 3 players who have gone out on loan and indicates this has freed up the budget to bring one in.  ( 3 for 1. Must be a stellar signing).  So where do we need strengthening ?

Maybe a Gold back-up or player to challenge Scott for the left sided position.

Thoughts ?

Would assume it is a midfielder, no real cover for the three starters from yesterday (and almost every league game this season) within the current squad other than 'stop gaps' like McFadden or Jones who have filled in for a few minutes at the end of a game.

If they've gone out on loan for a month does that the one coming in is also for a month or is the saving so great having those players out on loan that we get a player for the rest of the season?   :Sherlock:

Just had a chat with one of my nephews who is a season ticket holder etc at Portman Road.   Was at the Derby game on Friday night and apparently there is one coming our way from there. Very strong rumour is all he would say.
