Extons Road is closed

Currently there are traffic lights and a single lane operating on Goodwins Road at the Extons Road crossroads near the ground. There is no direct access to the regular parking spots that many people use in Extons Road and Holcombe Avenue.

I doubt if this will be cleared by tonight and will update later.

Is there still access down Avenue Road so that you join Extons road at the far end?

Yes. There is access via Avenue Road but that is a route down the middle of the parked cars in Avenue Road and the blind corner to negotiate near the railway crossing... and the same way back to get out.

I do that all the time, usually an hour before KO. It ill be busier tonight!

I always park down the bottom of the Hardwick Industrial Estate and walk through to Extons Road from there - saves a lot of messing about
