Lynn continue their winning ways.

3-1home win in front of 1250 (mainly Lynn) supporters.

Lynn now six points clear, with a game in hand over 2nd and 3rd places.

And it is a pleasure to watch a team that is enjoying playing together,it has been a while since that feeling was there? :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

So much better this season with Lynn flying high in the league. Cant really see any team getting the better of us....yes,  we are going to lose one or two, but with the cushion we are establishing at the top, that will be absorbed,  nobody is going to relish coming to the Walks. Hopefully attendances will top the 1000+ each home game and put us in a better position when we enter the National League again next season.

That’s quite a statement to put out there, not even anywhere near Christmas yet, lot’s of game’s left.

Look at Norwich, started the season poor and in the bottom 3 then a little run of results and top of the league, now tumbling down the league, falling quicker than Conservative ministers.

I’m sure that TW will be playing down any sort of talk about Promotion and Championships but it’s difficult not to start looking a little further ahead.  The increase in attendances is down to the decent football being played and the fact that we are top of the League.

People can pay it as much lip service as they want but in the position we find ourselves then the expectation level will be that we gain promotion.

We are already in a stronger position at this stage than what we were when we went up last time under the points per game rule.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Far to early to be talking about being champions, or even promotion. Who was it who had an 18 point lead over us, yep Tonbridge Angels.
We have got some very good players, I’m sure they are being monitored by bigger clubs. We are doing great and scoring lots of goals, our goal difference is by far the best, so everything is looking good, but a very long way to go.

Think it would take a massive choke by is not to at least make the top 7 and be in the play-offs.

Sure clubs will be sniffing around a few of our players.  As you would expect.  The only way I can see the wheels coming off is if Tommy was lured away to bigger and better things.

Yep, I knew that. My comment was meant to be a bit tounge in cheek (ie we had done it more than once).

Having said that, I don't think it was 18 points with Coalville. I seem to remember it was only 15.   :dontknow:
