It is Rod when you consider Tommy is more than happy to engage with the fans through a twice weekly interviews. Well I say twice but it’s hard for him to do a post match interview on away games when there is no one there from the Clubs media team.

Guess that must be one of the big National Papers wanting a seat. Mixed feelings on this one. National coverage for the Club is not to be sniffed at, but equally to relegate someone from the Press Box that represents one of our local publications (and a local business), and is reporting from the games and raising the profile of the Club week in week out, seems a bit harsh.Apparently this is a Media Team decision, not one made by the Chairman.

See somebody is clearly lying to me then, As I was told yesterday its a decision made by Mr Cleeve and nothing to do with the so called club media, But still I'm not surprised to be honest, Always quick to oust those that give the club coverage. Just short of 1,000 miles covered this month to give coverage and publicity. But its all good for the one game wonders to come and take peoples places. Shame we didn't see them at Scarborough and Southport, would of saved me a job!
Who will be covering Farsley away on a tuesday night in December?
I guess if one of the National’s comes a’ allying then space has to be found and as YLP is the minor publication of the 3 locals that cover The Linnets then that’s who has to give up their place.Should be good nationwide publicity for the Club if it’s the Mirror or the Sun.Having said all of that Hopefully the Club has stillFound the Milster a seat.If we win Saturday and draw a biggie at home all the locals could be ousted for one game.
If I was the YLP I would give it a miss and let the reporter enjoy the game with the rest of the die hards.
So has the Club found a seat for Milly in the Press Box ? Or indeed a seat anywhere. Just a thought why can’t Milly have his normal seat?
