The regular supporters of course will be there.  It’s the casual  fan the club needs to attract to make it a sell out.   Maybe the TV live will put some off as will the cost.

Think the Clubs media ‘team’ could do with ramping things up to get the casual once season into the Ground.  Feel a bit for SC all season in truth  this area has seemed somewhat lacking.

Apparently a paid for service.

SC must know he's not getting his moneys worth, and not usually the kind of guy to pay money out if he doesn't get the return he wanted.

So the question is, why does he allow it to continue this way?

The casual ‘fans’ will be there, they always are. York, Slough, Oldham etc. The cost and covid always seem to come up. It isn’t expensive, it costs £20 to watch the speedway.
For the casuals, it’s a one off £17 or whatever. Norwich City won’t be playing, so the potential of some City fans to attend is likely, after all, they may want to see what we’re all about if we get them in the 3rd Round.

It is expensive.

£20 for speedway is VERY expensive!

John 100% let’s hope you have it right and it another full house ( as Oldham).  Big Bucks into the club coffers to relieve the pressure on the Chairmans pockets.  Just feel 1100 plus sold so far is disappointing.

Interesting 1100 plus there for Kiddie on Saturday.  When we played them 3 seasons back in the NLN the game pulled in 1600 plus.  Both were November fixtures.

Mallard, yes 1149 Saturday for a winning and entertaining football team is not as many as we would hope for. Scarborough had over 1900 against us, on a cold, windy midweek evening. It’s down to the club to promote themselves, the team and Tommy are doing their bit.
We all have our own thoughts on what could be done to try and improve attendances. Some say the cost is too much, well if you want a successful team, it doesn’t come cheap. Being full time definitely increases the cost, but being full time, arguably helped in us beating Doncaster.
Hopefully we will gain promotion back to the National League, that would bring more away fans for sure. Let’s enjoy this current season for now and see where it takes us. Kidderminster like us are full time, but we were so much better than them. They were content to just sit back and waste time whenever they could, up until we took the lead anyway.
We have got a really good side, all we can do is to continue supporting them. We could be on the verge of something quite amazing, well actually, being at Doncaster was amazing. But, should we overcome Stevenage, then imagine yourself at anywhere you fancy.

The entertainment value with the Stevenage game should be full on.   Evans on the sidelines should provide plenty of crowd stimulation.  Those who have seen him will know what I’m talking about.   Now if we were to be beating them he will be a real sight to behold.

Stephen Cleeve
@StephenCleeve
We have already broken the 1,500 barrier for Stevenage with 1520 tickets sold. Please note there are 5 seats left in family section, and 34 elsewhere - we may be able to release some more in 7 days once we know what the FA need, guidelines mean they get an allocation

I've seen him numerous times. I hope the area behind the away dugout is securely cordoned off!

Steady on Mallard, Asking the clubs media to do something like that is like asking for winning lottery numbers, And that's even with the new made up social media manager job. Who just for the record STILL don't even turn up to games home or away.

Well that’s told me something I didn’t know Milly.  I gathered they (?) didn’t do away games as Twitter feed is done ‘remotely’ which is basically a re wording of the tweets from the opposition Clubs media team.  Without acknowledgment.    Didn’t realise it extended to them not even turning up at The Walks.   It’s a shame that the likes of you and Plummer aren’t approached to offer your expertise.

Seems very much like SC is forever firefighting.  Got the Commercial side bodies in place now the media side needs sorting, together with the H&S.

Who would run a Football Club !!!

What a very sad contrast is the level of competence and professionalism off the pitch, compared with on.

It is Rod when you consider Tommy is more than happy to engage with the fans through a twice weekly interviews.  Well I say twice but it’s hard for him to do a post match interview on away games when there is no one there from the Clubs media team.

Stevenage dropped two points today when Grimsby tied it up at 1-1 in the last minute.

Arsenal U21 visit Stevenage on Tuesday night in the next round of the PJ Trophy
