Ow there’s a competition we could win. But do think it’s an opportunity to rest some players. Anyway, we’ve got Southport before that. A win on Tuesday would see us go back top.

HH will be a good chance to get some minutes into a good few players who haven’t had much game time and in turn to rest some players who have played a lot games.

Southport first

Hemel Hempstead lay 14th in NLS, same level as us. This may not be as easy as it might appear. However, I expect  good game with several goals with us winning 4 - 2.

Good opportunity to rotate players today, although Dilly will still want his all out attack formation. Expect Ponticelli won’t be risked, so Omotayo and Stephens up front. Maybe a start for Walker and AOC. Would like to see AOC use his long throw where he an launch it into their box.
Score prediction, KL 4-0 HH

Ah yes, agree. Blair in goal would be the perfect opportunity.

John H - I think you’ve worked out Dillification, and I thank you for your interest!  But I agree ŵith you, and all on here for this game, that players can be rested.  Still hope it’s an attacking line-up though, because there is money at stake in this competition, plus the potential of big tests, and of course a big day out if we’re lucky.  Same as usual though, we must have a team capable of being up their end, instead of them up ours.  Innuendo more advantageous than tactics!  COYL….

Hello Dilly, totally agree with you, we have to be attacking minded whenever possible. Although some away games, we probably need to be set up differently. Having said that of course, I was at Doncaster and we were very much on the front foot. They say, the first line of defence is attack, after all.
I think it was the last 16 we got to in the Trophy, losing at home to Exeter, correct me if I’m wrong. So yes, let’s hope for a good run in this competition.
