I used to be a H/S officer in the 80s. I wouldnt touch the football club with a barge pole.
I'm led to believe that another previous, but more recent H&S officer is of the same opinion.
It's a very important postion that holds a lot of personal responsibility for the person doing the job. It should probably be a salaried position, so as to attract a suitably qualified and professional individual and with the experience to realise what they could potentially be getting themselves into.
The media department still doesn't appear to be working as intended, despite the money the Chairman is apparently dedicating to this area. To balance the books, it could be a good idea to divert money from one area to another.
