Peterborough Sports at Home.
« on: January 10, 2023, 06:37:35 PM »
Saturday is becoming more and more exciting.

Local Derby that sees 3 Ex Linnets returning in Fryatt, Fox and Gash.  Also a win will see us return to the top of tree with both Brackley and Darlington not in League action.

Big questions over who will be fit to be included in the match squad and  who will start.   Will Tommy have managed to get any new bodies over the line to bolster the squad, or will he try and ‘muddle’ through with what he has at his disposal ?

Let’s hope for a decent gate.

Flydes game tonight is off. Waterlogged pitch.

The chance of regaining top spot on Saturday will be a terrific incentive for the players.

Surely not just the players but the Management team to deliver.  Also the Supporters to do their bit and get behind the team.  Even the Chairman to make sure the Manager gets that little bit of extra help.

Got to say, the BBC forecast isn't great. Fingers crossed, we could do with getting some of these games on.

How long does it take to put Covers on and off?

How much ManPower is needed?

Today (Wednesday) is nice and sunny, hopefully get the pitch an airing.

A47, where do they store the covers these days?

I not sure if you attend games at the Walks B/G if you do you must have
seen the sheets on the side of the ground unless you thought they were
something else.

Thats where I had seen them previously, but the last time I went passed, I didn't think they were still there, hence the question.  :dontknow:
