TW has been threatened with sack
« on: February 18, 2023, 08:21:44 PM »
Heard from two different sources in the club, that if we lose on Tuesday TW is on his way. the way they played today and his use of substitutes and insisting his son always plays, I think he wants out.

I would suggest SC is the only person who can make that decision and I find it hard to believe he would have risked that becoming public knowledge by saying that to anyone.

So I’d take that with a pinch of salt Norfolk.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

A bit more tactful than me!

If there's any truth in it, I would guess that the Chairman will think different when any red mist has cleared.

Unless he believes he can manage the team himself, and better than Tommy, I can't see any changes just yet. He's only just returned from his trip to Russia, so would not have had time to find a replacement, and there's no Back and Fryatt to fall back on this time.

He's had all the hassle previously with the doomed from the start Clark appointment, followed by the pantomime during IC's second spell here.

Then again, if both of them decide to lock horns over the weekend, who knows..........?

I get the impression that SC is not one to have the tail wagging the dog.  He will support a Manager while he is delivering.  When that is not happening he will rightly be asking question.  However any issues should be dealt with behind closed doors and not in the form of shouting insults from the directors box down to the dugout.   Maybe being a fan SC has the same frustration as some of the paying public

I’m disappointed with our last performance and frustration may be growing but if there was any truth to the suggestion that TW has been threatened then I’m even more disappointed. To potentially have major disruption at this point in the season would be crazy and counter productive. Let’s not implode totally. In the event that changes are necessary then they need to be made after the season has ended but, even though I’m less than happy currently, it’s only fair to give everyone the whole season before considering any action, whatever that may be.

Call me crazy but I have this feeling we’re going to get a surprise result at Banbury…something like a 4-0 win.

the clubs own supporters agreement.
1. I will not use foul and abusive language to any person whilst at The Walks and at any game
involving King’s Lynn Town Football Club.
2. I will not behave in a lewd manner at any games involving King’s Lynn Town Football Club.
3. I will not act in a way which is likely to bring the name of King’s Lynn Town Football Club into
disrepute I also agree not to act in a manner causing or likely to cause a breach of the Ground
Regulations of January 2018.

I think that's actually called the "ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR AGREEMENT" (not Supporters agreement).

Is that all really coming from the Club or an FA directive after the charges received over the years.   When the Club officials are giving it some from the stands that just shows how serious they take such matters.

It appears to be an old one, and nothing new. Presumably its still in force.
