And our friends from Kettering managed to hold them to a draw. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

That was tough...to watch. We really made hard work of it and Tommy was obviously very frustrated on the touchline.

Take the same Saturday.  Cosgrove is a must. He makes things happen.  Play it down the channels.  We can get and keep that top spot  .

Hi Rod, didn’t make the game with it being Valentines and all that, so can’t comment on the performance. Most importantly, we won. Fylde dropped 2 points too, so a good night. Sometimes you have to grind out results without it being pretty. Not quite the starting line up I would have preferred, but TW knows what he is doing. He may be frustrated, but he will be happy with the result. I think that is the first time that two of our forwards have scored 3 goals in a game, long may that continue.

Have to say that result is just what was needed.   3 points, 3 goals and a clan sheet.   Looks like Tommy has a good selection problem ahead.   Blair not named for the first time in many weeks.  Just look at the quality sat on that bench last night.  With 5 others still to be considered, at some point.

Fylde have to be gutted at leaving two points behind at Kettering as well. On to Saturday and another 3 points up for grabs.  Hopefully a much bigger gate as well.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Like others I couldn't make the game last night but managed to follow some of it online. Good result and, from what I hear, a good performance again. Hopefully, the same again on Saturday. Is Blair still with us, by the way?

Yes i saw I was a very small crowd figure.

I guess there could be a number of reasons.

Cost with 3 home games in 8 days ( could a cheaper 3 ticket offer been made ?)
The Opposition ( bottom of the League)
Our recent poor form
Half term week
Lack of away fans
The Weather
Lack of promotion of the game.

Hopefully Saturday Will see nearly double last nights crowd there.

And the Mart for those younger supporters.

Poor 1st half better 2nd half, but the 2 strikers hit the back of the net to add confidence

Re the crowd  as has been said  3 home games on the spin  comes to a lot of money even for one person let alone a family.
i have friends who are really finding it hard  financially  with the cost of living let alone going to watch football. with the next electricity increase due  in 6 weeks time
a council tax rise  as well
a  500 to 700 crowd could be the new normal unfortuanatley
