Crowd Behaviour
« on: February 15, 2023, 04:33:08 PM »
Following on the clubs statement on Saturday was disheartened to witness a fan be thrown out Saturday and another yesterday for racist language. When will they realise they are harming the reputation of the club and getting fines which SC has said the club can't afford.

Have to say the stewards seem to be more on it in terms of being proactive with the actions against the culprits and its nice to see. Well done to them for finding the culprits for the idiotic language.

What more can we do as a fan base to assist with getting rid of these kinds of people.

Was it individuals or a group hurling th abuse?   Let’s hope the Clubs sticks to it and those people receive unlimited time bans.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Its not only fines, attendances are down, my two adult sons and their mates stopped attending home matches a few months ago after all the chants "we hope your bus crashes on the way home and " you have seen the walks now **** off home" etc, most of these scum watch more on their phones att games than cheer on the linnets. been a regular on the north terrace for over 30 years now and there about 4 or 5 vocal middle aged moroons who all the stewards know, should be spoken too, ok ban them but at least give them  a chance.

What more can the fan base do? If you hear racist or any other objectionable language ( for example towards female assistant referees ) then identify the user and inform the nearest steward.

The previously discussed and proposed body cams for the Stewards would help.
