I know we have talked about this before, but TW does not  seem to get what it costs to watch Lynn compared to other teams, I am a senior citizen and have been watching Lynn for more years than I can remember . 3 home games in a week, for me £51, I cannot afford that, and i know for a fact there are 30 or 40 more fans like me. Everything at the club is expensive, Programes, food and drink etc., I am not in the best of health so I have to have a seat, sometimes dirty, so at times I stay at home and hope that Radio Norfolk can be bothered to broadcast the game.  As for the recent results, the team is to negative. I will be very surprised if we go up.

Mac i am.in a similar position to you and as you say we are not alone in holding these views. Were it available i would love to see a league table showing gate receipts as a pefcentage of each club's total income....i bet it would be very revealing.

Mac if we don’t go up this season then things could be very different at Lynn next season.  Word is we will revert back to part time.  If that happens then where does that leave most of the players and indeed the Manager and his coaching staff.

People talk about a reset button being pushed in Non League Football.  Question is with outgoings of around £1.2/3m, would that really be such a bad thing for a Club like a Lynn pulling in gates of 700 on a Tuesday ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

I can't believe that Setch said we should be getting 1800 through the gate.

Somebody must have misheard or the old boy was on a wind up.    :laughcry:

Probably a classic Setch tongue in cheek wind up?

Very likely.  :laughcry:

Hopefully Tommy saw it as such.

Under Setch back in the Step 5 days were we pulling in 700 at that level ?  Local Manager, Local Team up there fighting for promotion.  Different budget of course
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

i agree. My pension hasn't gone up in real terms but the cost has on a daily basis has. Just don't have the spare money any-more. I'm lucky as I don't pay rent because I own my own property. However the electric, water, food, phone/broadband  and petrol has. Something has to give!   :scarf: :glum:

Bad result unfortunately.  Not negativity, just reality.  Imho TW is still too cautious in selection.  Too many defensive players again.  Why put on an attacker, but take OFF an attacker as well?  What can that improve?  We have several nipsters now, playing them together, especially when at home against lower teams, we could rip teams apart!  On the club’s future, we unfortunately have too many Linnets (not including regular supporters) who would rather be big fish in a small pool, than small fish in a big pool.

Watched Tommy’s post match interview and I understand his frustration. 750 attendance for top of the table team at this level isn’t at all good. We were expected to win against Farsley, after all it was top v third bottom. Yes it’s disappointing to have lost, but there isn’t any justification by any fans to ‘vent their anger’ towards players or management. They try to win, as does our opponent. We’ve had some excellent performances, but not enough to suggest we are championship material. We got to the National League, but fell short, not once, but twice and that’s why we are where we are now.
We all have our opinions on who should start, but that’s down to TW. Every week Dilly will copy and paste his post of how we should line up. At the very least, we will be in the play offs, so let’s get behind the team, win or lose.

First, congratulations to all of us for turning out on a freezing Tuesday.

Especially those for the third time in 8 days.

200 of the reduction were from away support.

Away supporters, including those from full-time clubs, constantly moan about our admission prices.

Our concession price is barely worthy the title "concession".

Well done in advance, those supporters making the trips to Kiddy and Brackley.

When, and only when, all of the above has been said and acknowledged, should any chairman or manager make comments about local people that don't attend. Failure to realise that will lead to the message being misunderstood or not being accepted as coming from a good place.

Then tell us what you intend to do to try and resolve the problems. That's called solution based management, as opposed to problem based management. Who, in our club is doing this?

Just not going to win the league if you can't win the games you should be winning. Of the current bottom 8, with just 2 games left to play, it's 26 points from 42. Fylde have same amount of points from those teams, with caveat of 3 extra games to play. Considering Lynn have to play 6 away games to top 12, where they currently have 0 wins from, it's looking very likely it'll be the play offs.
