Thank you Mark, Hugo, Paul, Steve
« on: April 03, 2023, 03:39:20 PM »
A big thank you to Mark and Hugo for stepping in to manage the club. Thank you Paul too for your coaching role and of course Steve too, for acting quickly in replacing TW.
It would be nice to see a big turn out Friday to show appreciation and get behind the team. It has been a difficult time for players and staff alike. Really hope that this team (all players) will see the season out and for Theo to score the winner in the play off final. Must be a difficult time for Theo, but while he is a Linnet, we must all support him.

It's a simple equasion - if he plays well, the fans will support him

Even Theo himself must know his recent performances haven't been good

New people Dilbert ?   Have you not got the Dilometer tuned in to the right frequency?

“They are locksmiths……and they are locksmiths “. (Naked Gun, 1980’s or 90’s ha ha)

Don’t worry Dilly, they are good people who need our support….time to ramp up the positivity however many nipsters  they do or do not select.

Mal & Pink….  The Dillometer (actually Dillathon) isn’t programmed to analyse managers or coaches, as 99% of them finish up sacked after an average of 2.5 years.  The Dillathon uses electronic eyes to assess what is happening before them on the pitch.  It wishes the new (to the job) people good luck, but today’s ticker-tape has printed that promotion will only be achieved if selections are designed to win games, rather than sneak wins or hang on for draws.  In that respect, nipsters are essential in the line-up.  TW assembled a good squad that could have won the games we lost to lower teams through not picking forward-thinking teams.  The loss of Hargreaves and Scott we ALL agree on… Onwards and upwards - but who are the blokes who have filled the gap? (Please!)….

OK - verbal lugging accepted from Mall and Pinko!  Just proves that Dilly really DOESN’T listen to managers or “staff”, so didn’t know who they were!  Again, good luck to them, and I just hope they “go for it” with their selections.  Aldershot can expect a few Centre-halves on the pitch this weekend!
