Both us and Kidderminster are on great form, so should be a good contest. Certainly going to be tough and I think the first goal will be very important. Personally, I don’t agree with playoffs, we got 24 points more than Kidderminster, that is huge, but has counted for very little. However, it is the way so we must use our home advantage and hopefully come out triumphant. Should be another good attendance, as Kidderminster will be well backed by their fans, can see it being 3000 plus.
Really hope we can get to the final, albeit I’m away on that day and wouldn’t be able to make it. Is Ben Stephens available or not after being sent off. Not sure if it would take effect from the start of next season, or the play offs.

I am confused as to whether this game is being streamed.
Some say it's not, but according to Vanarama it will be!

All Vanarama National League North and South play-off Eliminators and Semi-Finals are being covered on National League TV.???

From a commercial aspect does the home side get to keep the gate receipts or is it a spilt ?

Fingers crossed we can get two home games to help balance the books for the season.

Mallard, the Gate is split 50/50.

National TV covering Play Offs and Semi's but BT has Final.

Much as one, potentially two, extra games is to be welcomed, I don't think they will make much of a dent in getting the books balanced.  All we can hope is that SC has plans in place, whatever the outcome of the next fortnight, for next season

I’m sure SC has a few ideas on the table for next season.   Still think it will be part time or hybrid if we remain at Step 2.  Full time if we go
Up.

The two games will hopefully bring in an extra £50/60k for the Club Tony.  That’s £50/60k SC doesn’t have to find. If it’s say 20% of the shortfall then every little helps

A MASSIVE 24 points less than Lynn, scraped into the play offs on the final day of the season, six wins out of the last six matches and with the tradition of the best team over the season rarely succeeding in the play offs, then I fear Sunday is only ending one way :(

Yep, that’s why you have to ask if the play offs are really fair, 24 points is the equivalent of 8 wins.  It’s County are in the same scenario as us, so if there is any justice both us and County will gain promotion through the play offs. The leagues should have a rethink and go back to the teams that got the most points over the season being promoted.

But is it usually only the side that just missed out who claim the play offs to be unfair? The flipside is that with a week of the season left all bar about 4 of the 24 teams still had something to play for. Contrast that with pre-play off days. Back in the old Southern League days, only the champions went up. Invariably 1 team (2 if you were lucky) would run away with it. Most other teams were left with nothing to play for once they were knocked out of the FA competitions. Some clubs chairmen would get enough points to be safe then slash the budget in January! Then there were a string of 'other' cups to get a bit more revenue in (League cup, East Anglian cup etc). At least the play offs keep the season interesting for a greater number of teams. And let's all be grateful there's no 'Super' Play Off this time  :scarf:

If two teams are to be promoted, then it should be the two teams with the most points over the season, the teams that rightly earned their promotion. There’s no play off to decide relegation. That could work too, bottom team relegated automatically, then have three games involving the 6 that finished above bottom and the losers all get relegated. Not going to happen, because the bottom 4 deserve to be relegated, like the top 2 deserve to be promoted.
