Ben's dismissal yesterday? Been watching the highlights and don't understand why he was sent off?

Referee was so blatantly biased toward Curzon, he realized he could no longer influence the result, but he could ensure Lynn were without one of their best players for the play-offs. Equally mystifying why the second goal was disallowed as there was no contact between the players and no question of off-side Ox' C came from behind the defender.  Two worthy penalty appeals waved away Gold was hauled down in the box and a hand ball that everyone in the stadium say except the officials.

I thought the way Ben walked off and the lack of protests frkm lynn players, it looked like it was what he said in the heat of tbe moment as looking in slow motion there was only minminal contact with the Cuzon player, who  incidently I thought where the better team on the day.

Surely it must have been about verbal rather than physical provocation, as there appeared to be so little protest about the decision?

Watch the video and see that Ben swept the Curzon player off his feet while sitting on the ground. Maybe retaliation by Ben for something but it was at least a Yellow but harsh Red.

The above sounds like violent conduct which is a straight red!
