Now the dust has settled on a disappointing playoff, are there any rumours on our next manager or player movements? I hope we retain the core of what has been a successful squad

I believe Scott is the only player on contract to 2024

Undoubtedly several will leave of their own accord, with some perhaps heading south, in the direction of Aldershot?

I've been trying to find where it was previously posted, but thought it had already been said that 2 are Aldershot bound and one was going to Scunny.

Boston also seem to think a number are moving to them.

P'Sports were very interested in one player at start of the season just passed, so maybe they could renew their interest. Having said that, maybe the money is no longer there that they previously benefited from.

According to the current manager in an interview with Lynn News the players out of contract amongst the current playing squad are as follows, Gold, Denton, Hargreaves & Coulson.

How will it work if we move from full time to part time with regard to players contracts ?  Will it be a case of all bets are off, or just unload everything we can fit as much as we can ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Unless contracts specify the players status as full time, i would imagine that a change to part time would effectively break that contractual arrangement??

Aldershot have already published their retained list. They obviously believe in the art of communication.

Why would Culverhouse come back??
Would we really want him back, knowing he has walked away a couple of times already??

What was achieved under Culverhouse (on the whole) was fantastic, with some real good memories, but that's now in the past.

Hopefully whoever the new manager is, will be able to pull good players into the club.

As for who will stay or leave, I guess will unfold over the coming weeks, but I hope we can keep Barrett, Gold, Coulson, Crowther, Aaron Jones, Clunan - the core of the current team.

Hargeaves, Denton, Scott, Tommy Hughes - hope they stick around too

Going to be an interesting summer

Culverhouse is gone and now well intrenched at Boston.   The job in hand for SC is find the next Culverhouse.  No easy task.

Lots of Clubs have already put out their retained lists ( and departures), so Managers will already be having discussions with players they want

Surely it must be impossible for us to do the same just yet.

We don't know who the manager and assistants are going to be, or even if we will be full time or part time. Hardly in a position where we can issue a retained list.

It may only be a few days since we lost the chance of promotion, but things move very quickly in football, especially this time of year. Hopefully we'll know something in next 48 hours or so.

They don't at Lynn, particularly with information coming out.
Lots of clubs already released season ticket prices for next season, with early bird discounts.
