Walks maybe easy = cheap ?    If it doesn’t work then cheap might become expensive on a 2 year deal.  Remember Simon Clark.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Really hope everyone has sat down and had a mature chat about what is possible at the club. If Lynn go off half-cocked hoping for a similar first 6 months to last campaign then I think it could be disastrous. Last season happened for a reason……it should show SC that realistically we are unlikely to win this league. We couldn’t win it last term with TW and a full time squad, many of whom were from the National League squad. We wouldn’t have won it under IC without COVID cutting the season short. There are several bigger , better financed full time outfits who come the turn of the year will put their hands in their pockets, add 6/7 top quality players to their squad and one of them will is likely to win the league…just as Fylde did this year and York would have done back in IC’s day.

The next 2/3 seasons must be about securing financial backing for the club. Lynn can still look forward to a decent Cup run in one of the competitions and a top half finish-hopefully a play off place with a decent run towards the end, perhaps helped by holding back a bit of money for a key loanee if the time is right. Just feel Lynn need to be a bit more savvy and considered in their operations.

If Gold goes (would prefer if he stayed) would like to see more emphasis on speed in the side…….a forward line with people like Stephens, Cosgrave, Sherriff and even Charles…………….and good pace in the two centre back positions to avoid needing 3centre halves and a covering defensive midfielder every game.

A bit disappointed personally with the goal return from Ponticelli and Barrett this term……I know they have assisted loads, but for their standard I feel they should have registered far more often…….wouldn’t be surprised if they were to leave.

First they fascinate the fools, then they attempt to gag the intelligent.

1) Barrett
2) Hargreaves
3) Widdrington
4) coulson
5) gold
Time to move on albeit best before or offers made?
Also stick to part time, reduce the outlay as the latter part of the season there was no difference in fitness due to being a full time outfit.....
A fit Hargreaves for me is a monster in that midfield but I feel he will won't have any trouble with incoming offers 🤔

Mark Hughes has already said we are to remain full time.

It's a shame Hugo has left as he seemed pretty clued up on the touchline.
Paul Jones, new to the role, but in the video of Mark Hughes appointment, Jones looked like the proverbial rabbit in the headlights!!

Will be interesting to see who Hughes/Jones (and Cleeve??) can bring into the club.

We have some skilful players, I think we need some "streetwise" players with a bit of tenacity for when the going gets tough - last Sunday, we almost rolled over, we needed some fight

A lot on here are making a big deal about the under par performance v Kiddie……but it was just one game….and there’s the rub…in the end the most important game of the season after all the 50 odd that went before…

Personally I wasn’t surprised…long hard season of 46 games plus a Cup run and won 6/7 on the bounce previously in pursuit of Fylde with a limited squad, many of whom were carrying knocks or were just coming back to fitness having been out for ages…….I think they were just spent…..Kiddie on the other hand are having their best spell of the season at the right time.

The club and the fans need to smell the coffee…more often than not you get nothing for being second in this league after 46 long hard games with all the travel…..so maybe aspiring to be top or only turning up to watch if Lynn are top three , during the first six months of the season , makes less sense than in days gone by, now that it’s just one automatic promotion place and playoffs

The speed and the tenacity in the current squad is perhaps something that was there earlier in the season before Theo, Cam,etc all got long term knocks
